About
Jeep Wrangler Radiator

Your Jeep Wrangler is the ideal ride for those fun weekend excursions in the Great Outdoors. Don't let an overheating engine come between you and the carefree feeling of front and rear axles carrying you across unknown terrain or down the highway to your next adventure. Maintain your cooling system with quality replacement parts from AutoZone.

If your Jeep Wrangler radiator is full of rust and corrosion, your engine is in danger of being damaged by excessive heat. Overheating is avoidable by routine draining, flushing and refilling of the cooling system with the correct amount of antifreeze. You must also avoid leaks stemming from the radiator. Updated Wrangler radiators are available at your local AutoZone where our knowledgeable staff is ready to offer advice, perform engine diagnostic tests or even assist you with our handy Loan-a-Tool Program for DIY installation.

Perfect fit, good value, works as expected

Solid value for replacement, daily driver. There are better, more expensive options for the Jeep 4.0, but unless you are rock crawling in the desert, this will do just fine.

I was worried about ordering a radiator and having it shipped to me, but I figured I could always return it at a local Autozone and maybe they would swap it out for one in stock. By ordering it online, I got the discount and got the price down to a more reasonable price point. The original radiator had metal end caps and this one's were plastic. They seem like pretty good quality, but I was extra careful with them. Only issue I had was the overflow nipple was pretty much smooth pipe and should of had a larger barb on the end of it. I had a minor leak there and pushed it on further and later added a hose claimp. I thought the upper tank was leaking, but I guess the factory clamp just didn't seal the hose to the new radiator and I needed to readjust it. No problems after the two adjustments! All the original bolts, hoses, and tanks fit up like OEM. I'd buy it again!!!

Perfect fit for 2004 Wrangler X 4.0

I liked that this had slots for the lower bolts unlike the factory original; it made installation easier. It came with the proper transmission cooling line connectors; be sure to use the accompanying O-rings plus wrap some Teflon tape on the bolt threads before installing on the radiator. It did have nuts welded on for the fan shroud bolts; I went to Lowe's & bought four M6-1.00 x 25 Hex Bolts to secure the shroud. Before installation or pouring in coolant, ensure the drain plug is fully tightened as mine wasn't. So far I've only road tested the Wrangler but no leaks noted & the temp gauge is well within normal operating range.
