      Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Thermostat

Your Chevrolet Silverado is a useful, rugged-looking truck that drives more like a car. A faulty thermostat prevents drivers like you from getting the performance and handling you rely on by causing temperature problems in your engine. A new Chevrolet Silverado thermostat from AutoZone keeps your truck performing like it should.

Over time, Silverado thermostats become worn from repeated cycles or they get damaged from corrosion and rust. A defective thermostat prevents coolant from circulating through the engine block and leads to overheating. AutoZone has the products you need at the right prices. Get your thermostat replacement for Chevy Silverado today by choosing Same Day Store Pickup when you order from us online. We offer free battery charging and engine diagnostic testing at all of our locations.

This thermostat was a perfect fit for my 2015 Chevy Silverado LTZ 5.3L. It was super easy to replace as well. My engine was running cold and I knew that was an issue. So the old thermostat was running open, it was running at 180 degrees or below. Now it's back at the factory 207 degrees. This helps the engine run better and fuel to burn more efficiently. One trick is that the old gasket was stuck to the engine when I removed the old one, you can just grab it with some pliers and peel it off. Don't reuse that old gasket just cause it's stuck there. This unit comes with a brand new gasket.
