Dodge Dakota Thermostat

Not too small, not too big – your Dakota is the original mid-size pick-up. Make sure your truck keeps running strong by quickly replacing damaged or worn-out parts. If your truck has been overheating, its thermostat may be faulty. Remedy the problem by picking up a thermostat replacement for your Dodge Dakota from AutoZone.

The thermostat is tasked with maintaining the right operating temperature in your truck's engine. Boiling, gurgling and rumbling noises are another sign that it may be time to head to AutoZone for a new Dakota thermostat. Order from us online and use Same Day Store Pickup if you need that replacement right away, or benefit from home shipping. Or, visit your local store today and enjoy access to our Loan-a-Tool program to fill any gaps in your toolbox.

The rubber seal that came with the thermostat seemed like a decent one. No need to get another seal.

Direct replacement - figured if I had to take the old one off might as well put this new one on since it was cheap. Bolts aren’t in a great or easy location on the Dakota but the parts are a direct fit and got the heat pumping nicely again after the last thermostat failed.
