2nd one purchased. Keeps locking up (open)

      Adam

      in a year

This is the 2nd One I purchased. Thinking the first one was an anomaly. It kept locking up at around 190-200 degrees (which is my trucks normal operating temp. The thermostat opens at 180, but the window of operation is small. Seems to lock at mid 190’s to 200. After it locks up. The 22re only got up to 130 ish degrees. Resulting in high idle, because the iac only saw didn’t close up. Bad milage, cause injectors were firing in open loop. I decided to go with anther unit that doesn’t have the fail-safe mechanism. Truck can reach operating temp now. It’s a great idea, they just have to make their operating temp have a larger window. Perhaps lock-up at 210 or something
