      Saturn Ion Water Pump

Maximizing your Ion's incredible dependability means taking action at the first sign of mechanical damage. Don't risk permanent engine failure by allowing your water pump to completely wear out. Instead, upgrade to AutoZone's high-performance water pump replacement for Saturn Ion to guarantee long-lasting performance.

Puddles of water or coolant underneath your Lancer are a sign that your water pump needs to be replaced. A leak or a faulty bearing causes water to leak out rather than do its job of keeping your engine cool. This puts you at risk of causing serious damage to your engine. Same-Day Store Pick-up also is available if you need your new water pump right away.

It’s a little hard to get the bolts threaded in not being able to see the holes. Just be patient and it will do the job. Use a magnetic socket so the screws don’t fall when removing. On the water pump, not the tool.

Works perfect. Fits easy with tool. Did water pump, thermostat and head gasket. Does what it’s supposed to do. Sits right @ 180. Wish they sold a 192 or 195 tstat.
