How does the Speed Sensitive steering work?

If you’ve ever driven a car with manual steering, you know it takes a lot more effort to turn the wheel at low speeds than it does when you’re moving. Speed sensing steering adjusts assistance automatically based on driving conditions, so you can use the same amount of effort to steer the car at all speeds. The system measuring vehicle speed and the amount of force you’re applying to the steering wheel. It uses this information to adjust the amount of power sent to the electric motor in your power steering system, balancing steering effort.
