• Fig. Align the mark on the clock spring with the mark on the outer housing-626

• Fig. Remove the steering angle sensor by detaching the tabs at the four locations shown-Mazda 3
• Fig. Turn the clock spring clockwise until it stops-Mazda 3
• Fig. From the stopped position, turn the clock spring counterclockwise 2 3/4 turns-Mazda 3
