Mazda 3 and 6 2005-06 Valve Covers Repair Guide

• Fig. Apply silicone sealant to cylinder head at the areas illustrated-All Mazda3 models, Mazda6 and Mazdaspeed6 models with the 2.3L (L3) engine models
• Fig. Tighten the rocker arm cover bolts in the sequence shown-All Mazda3 models, Mazda6 and Mazdaspeed6 models with the 2.3L (L3) engine models
• Fig. Remove the left hand rocker arm cover bolts in the sequence shown-Mazda6 models with the 3.0L (AJ) engine
• Fig. Remove the right hand rocker arm cover bolts in the sequence shown-Mazda6 models with the 3.0L (AJ) engine
• Fig. Apply silicone sealant to right hand cylinder head at the areas illustrated-Mazda6 models with the 3.0L (AJ) engine
• Fig. Install the oil control valve on the right hand side-Mazda6 models with the 3.0L (AJ) engine
