So far, so good
in a year
The factory OEM Hyundai clutch master cylinder lasted 200,000+ miles, so if I get half of that out of this one, I'll be happy.
Installation was fairly simple, (need intermediate mechanics skills), and brought the clutch pedal right back to life. It doesn't even feel like I'm pressing againast anything, it's so smooth.
One downside is that the outside part of the metal cylinder itself oxidized fairly quickly, but is still 100% functional. We'll see if it affects function as time goes on, but I'm confident that it's only cosmetic. So if you're concerned about looks, you may want to mask off the silver part and hit it with some engine paint, or just brush some oil into the metal to keep it protected.
All-in-all, great value for the money, and kudos to Autozone for having one in stock.
