      This is such a solid switch, I don't see how the original failed. Anyway, laying on your back on the floorboard, it really helps to have a good light source like a lamp with a flexible neck. There is a good video on Youtube showing how to replace this part. It is a good idea to take a few pictures of the original part before getting started so you can see how everything goes back together.
