      Easy to program

The fab was easy to program and seems to be of similar (or exact) design as the original. AutoZone also "ground" the pocket key within the fab so the key would open my car doors if the fab failed or the battery went dead. I understand that all AutoZones do not have the equipment to ground keys.

I bought two Dorman-Remote Keyless Entry keys in the past month. Both appear identical to my van's original keyless entry (just not as beat up.) The directions are easy to follow and should provide you with a extra way to get into your vehicle easily saving you the cost of labor to have it done at the dealership. However, both times my van said the remote was a "Bad Key". I don't know if my van's OEM key was just too far gone to program a new key or by luck of the draw I got two defective keys from the company. I called Dorman's toll free number each time to trouble shoot. As far as we could tell I followed the instructions correctly. AutoZone refunded me for both keys. I ended up going to the local dealership and had them program a new key fob for me.
