While this product cost a little more than some of the "universal" fit products, it made installation a snap. The prior owner had jockeyed in some not-quite-perfect replacement. Unfortunately, the only way I knew that was the adapter pipe on the muffler, since our need for replacement was due to a theft. Not knowing exactly what the original looked like, this direct-fit unit allowed me to install without adapters. I had to call MagnaFlow for some orientation instructions (which side was up?) since I had no reference. They informed me that the photo as shown was "right side up"; that is, the pipe curves DOWN from the front to the converter. Although the price was a few bucks higher than mail-order, I needed it right away. Out of all the local parts stores, there was ONE in the entire city and it was at AutoZone. The only downside is that they don't loan the exhaust expansion tools for the old pipe that had been crimped. Still, good price.
