      I replaced this because my 2000 Odyssey was using oil and I thought this might help. However, my Odyssey has 200K miles and it still uses oil. I tested the filter by sucking air through it and by blowing air through it. The check valve worked well to allow air to be sucked through but not blown back. Then I compared it to the old PCV valve which did allow a small amount of air to be blown back through it.
