Be Certain of the "Mounting" bolt.

Other than almost removing an oil pan bolt in error because of lighting conditions, the install wasn't too bad even without a rack. The car was stalling and wouldn't restart. Checking the Internet, I determined that this sensor was the problem. I got lucky with my diagnosis and the car has performed flawlessly since. We saved so much money by self installing the inexpensive part .

I have a 96 Cherokee with the 4.0L I6 HO and for some reason they say in store this is only for the “manual transmission” and I have an auto and it’s been working great for me, so I would say just use this if they say it’s a manual also
