About
Dodge Ram 1500 Idle Air Control Valve
The idle air control valve is critical to the proper functioning of the addition of fuel to the engine. The Ram IAC valve controls the amount of air going into the engine so that the Ram's computer inputs the correct amount of fuel. This valve needs to be replaced when it becomes clogged with material such as debris, dirt and carbon. With AutoZone's Same Day Store Pickup, obtaining your idle air control valve for Dodge Ram is a snap when you shop with us online. Or, you can even choose home shipping for added value.

Without this little device you’ll be walking. My truck was having issues and I found that this little device was the cause. I buy the last one last year at auto zone but, I was having issues with a broken manifold gasket which caused severe carbon build up in the male end of this device. Hopefully now that the gasket has been repaired I won’t have to buy another one next year.

I had a problem with my truck, Dodge Ram 1500 2wd 5.2 with stalling and then starting right back up like nothing happened. Did some research and found that it could be caused by the IAC (idle air control valve). So I picked up an IAC put it in and so far so good.
