Ford F150 Idle Air Control Valve

Rugged yet modern, your Ford F-150 is a powerful truck you trust to get hard work done. Its strength comes in part to a fully functioning engine. When the idle air control valve for Ford F-150 doesn't properly control the amount of air that reaches the engine, it leads to problems that affect your truck's performance.

The Ford F150 idle air control valve regulates how much air passes into the engine to mix with the fuel. When the valve becomes clogged, it restricts the flow of air and responds more slowly. The lowered performance causes your engine to flood with fuel and your tailpipe to backfire. Take care of these issues with a high-quality F150 IAC valve from AutoZone so your truck functions at full capacity again. For online orders, we offer home shipping and Same Day Store Pickup to receive the part faster.

      Buy motorcraft

I bought this for my 99 f150 with the 4.6l and it worked great for 2 months then it started acting up again. I had a loud hum coming from the air intake and when this hum occurred the rpms would jump up about 500rpms. The hum seemed to occur when I started the truck, stopped at a light, or turned on the a/c. It's not worth the money just order the OE motorcraft product for some reason these after market control motors give everyone products.

This part fixed 2001 F150 stalling issue

My 2001 Ford F150 would start then stall unless I kept my foot on the accelerator. Online research indicated that the problem was likely the idle air control valve. I replace it and have had no problems since. The part was fairly easy to replace, however it was tight quarters with the part located between the butterfly and the firewall.

Along with replacing the TPS, this fixed an issue involving the idling of my truck. Perfect fit of both the gasket and part itself.
