Be very careful!

The MAP sensor is in a location that's a little difficult to get to. I learned that it's important to fully seat the sensor in place before putting screws in. Be sure and put o'ring lube on the o'ring. After getting the sensor in place I put a stubby piece of wood (I used screen moulding)square on the sensor and tapped it into place. The mounting plate is made of plastic of fibrous material and you must get the screw started straight and not at an angle like I must have done. I actually stripped one of the screw holes out but used a screw about 1/4" longer and had a little different thread pitch, and it worked great. All in all, it was a good installation and repair, except for my mess up!

Larger than OEM part; Requires manifold modificati

The part was noticeably larger than the original, requiring cutting/filing down of parts of the manifold. However, I got it to fit, and it has fixed the random stalling problem that I was having. I would probably check the dealer for an OEM part before getting this one.
