      Kia Rio Oxygen Sensor

You picked your Rio for its efficiency and economy, which means you notice when it starts using more fuel than usual. A quick onboard computer check can help you spot the culprit, but you know it has to be one of the sensors, and you suspect it is your Kia Rio oxygen sensor. Easily replace your Kia Rio oxygen sensor and other components at AutoZone.

Rio oxygen sensors help monitor your engine's fuel-to-air ratio, which makes them integral to your vehicle's fuel efficiency and overall performance. Environmental factors like humidity and barometric pressure change the way that fuel behaves, so constantly adjusting to maintain the right balance of exhaust products is what makes your vehicle capable of its regular efficiency. If you install your new sensor on your own, make sure to talk to AutoZone's helpful and friendly staff about our Loan-a-Tool Program. It's there to ensure you have the tools you need for every repair.

Using a half inch drive 22-in breaker bar along with PB blaster rust penetrant and a rented AutoZone oxygen sensor socket the job was completed in less than 20 minutes. The oxygen sensor had the exact fit connector to the automobiles ECM so no wire splicing was needed. No cons to think of.

This is the downstream sensor, park your car on a curb, don't trust a jack. Very easy job, provided you can get under your car, laying on the engine I could reach the connection just fine. underneath you'll have to reach to unfold the aluminum heat shield where the wire gets tucked. Get the right size socket, mine was too long. Part is holding up just fine.
