This Delphi is heavier than the motorcraft part it replaced. Reused the sending unit. 10k miles so far without complaint. Would buy again.

    Replaced with same system

I had to replace this system because the floater on the old one came off in the tank and I wasn’t getting a reading on fuel level in the tank. I was disappointed to find out the system I’m replacing was this exact brand. Whomever owned the vehicle before must’ve changed it out. I WILL say that the floater on the arm looks to be better made now, perhaps it coming off was an issue they were made aware of? It’s packaged well to keep everything in place until you need it and it looks like they upgraded the filtering system leading to the pump so I’m hopeful this’ll give me more miles of use. Easy to install, but I guess that’s objective to its application. Nothing felt cheap, and I’ve handled systems before that seemed more delicate. I’m optimistic about it.
