About
Ford F150 Fuel Pump

For a truck that delivers superior towing capability and payload capacity, your Ford F150 is one of the best. With reliable performance, you get years of efficient use out of your vehicle unless your Ford F150 fuel pump breaks down on you. If this does occur, you can easily find the perfect replacement parts from your local AutoZone.

You can easily tell when you need a fuel pump replacement for Ford F150 because your truck's fuel economy suffers. This is the result of the relief valve being unable to open, so an excessive amount of gasoline is sent to the engine. This causes you to spend more on fuel than necessary, which results in spending lots of time and money at the pump. For the right products provided at the right prices, AutoZone has exactly what you need to drive more efficiently. Also take advantage of our Same Day Store Pickup when you shop online with us.

Great Product

I replaced the fuel pump once and it last 5 yrs, but for 2000 Ford F150 that is pretty good by my standards. I would say this fuel pump lives up to its name and I would recommend this product as I purchased a new but now it comes with a life time warranty!

Save yourself some time and aggravation....

Pump worked as one would expect, no issues there. The real problem is getting to the darn thing in the first place. After some research and some videos, I opted to remove the bed of the truck. BEST DECISION IN MY LIFE!!! Took out the bed liner, unbolted the bed, unbolted the gas cap, released the hose clamp at the base of the filler hose (securing it to the bed), detached the license plate bulbs and tail light connection, had my son help me raise and move the bed over about 2 feet and PRESTO!!! Total time for me was 35 mins!!! This was performed on a 2001 F150 4.2L extended cab. One bolt was a bit stuck but after some PB blaster, and a little back and forth, it came out and the rest was smooth sailing. Definitely a must consider if the gas tank is more than half full.

Quick & easy

It was a quick easy install. Pulled old one off my ‘08 F150 & installed new within minutes. Instructions were very helpful in that I was able to do so myself without spilling gas all over me!
