About
Jeep Wrangler Fuel Pump

Rugged yet refined, your Jeep Wrangler is satisfyingly functional and affordable. A broken fuel pump, though, can turn your Wrangler into a frustrating and pricey ride by causing the engine to jerk upon acceleration and consume too much gas. Find a fuel replacement for Jeep Wrangler at AutoZone to ensure long-lasting performance from your rugged ride.

Your Jeep Wrangler fuel pump uses pressure to send the right amount of gas from the fuel tank to the engine. Changes in pressure lead to inconsistent streams of fuel. This fluctuation results in the engine jolting, sputtering, eating up gas or not starting at all. Rely on AutoZone's helpful staff to direct you to the right fuel pump for your Jeep Wrangler when you visit your local store. Use our Loan-a-Tool program to borrow any needed tools to complete the installment and get back to off-roading today. You can even shop with us online.

Delphi fuel pump

This pump was for a 79 Ford pickup so not many people kept it in stock including AutoZone. I ordered it and it was in stock within 24 hours and was they exact replacement. Truck started up and ran great after installation

Good quality, does the job

I replaced the unit when the factory fuel level sender quit working. I figured I might as well replace the whole unit since it's so hard to get to and the Jeep has 225k miles on the factory unit. The new unit looks different from the factory unit I pulled out of the tank, but I think it actually has a better design with two even springs instead of one lopsided spring and plastic sliding tabs. See photos.
