About
2002 Toyota Camry Fuel Pump
Symptoms of a Failing Fuel Pump
Failing fuel pumps don't always make your vehicle behave the same way, but there are some common symptoms to watch for. Sputtering, slowing down randomly and stalling are all signs the pump is failing. The vehicle not starting is another issue, and sometimes randomly speeding up is a sign of a failing Toyota Camry 2002 fuel pump. If you notice these issues or you hear whining from the fuel tank, it's time to obtain a replacement pump. AutoZone allows you to sort through replacements based on your Camry's year, make, model, and engine size. How to Replace Your Own 2002 Toyota Camry Fuel Pump
After you get the right replacement part, you can install it in your Camry. Open the rear doors of our car and pull clips underneath the rear seat pad to disconnect the pad. Tip up the lower seat cushion and pull it away from the seat to remove it. This exposes the fuel pump access underneath. Open the access and disconnect the power wires and fuel lines. Unscrew the ring to the fuel pump and remove it from your vehicle. Add in the new pump and attach any wires and fuel lines in place. Secure the pump, close the hatch, and replace the seat pad to finalize the installation.AutoZone offers a selection of 2002 Toyota Camry external engine parts, making it easy to make repairs to your vehicle fast. Same-Day In-Store or Curbside Pickup or Free Next-Day Delivery is even available on eligible orders.
