About
Ford Taurus Motor Mount
Motor mounts for Ford Taurus are an essential component to your vehicle because they isolate the transmission and engine from the rest of your car. While your Taurus is in motion, the engine and transmission create vibrations and cause a lot of noise. Vibrations are prevented from entering the chassis of the vehicle because the motor mount cushions these parts. When you need a new motor mount, AutoZone provides the perfect solution, since we feature the right products at the right prices to keep you happy. Free battery charging and engine diagnostic testing are offered to keep your vehicle running smoothly and you can benefit from our convenient Loan-a-Tool program for easy DIY installation as well.

I really didn't think that this part had much to do with the stabilization of the engine but I was really wrong. There were some cracks in the rubber going towards the inner metal that really opened up when torque was applied to the engine from pressing on the gas pedal.
