      This drain plug and gasket combination work great. Over 1.5k miles since instalation and no leaks. The larger hex nut head (of those offered at AutoZone) leaves no worries of the head shearing off or creating shear stresses on the shank of the plug, and therefore the threads while servicing.

      Easy to install! I installed this on my 2008 Ford Focus. With 157,000 miles the oil drain plug finally stripped the threads of the aluminum oil pan. So fat there are no leaks and the magnetic plug makes oil changes easy.
