Chevrolet Impala Spark Plug
Your vehicle requires a specific type of Chevy Impala spark plug, depending on the manufacturer's recommendation. Even though they both share the same basic function of beginning the combustion process in your engine, you may need either hot or cold plugs for your specific make and model. Hot plugs contain ceramic inserts that minimize the surface area that comes in contact with the metal part of the plug, and they run hotter than cold plugs.

Lasted 140,000 miles without any miss fires.

My 2009 Chevy Impala just got it first set of spark plugs replaced at 140,000 miles. I replaced them at this point because I thought it absurd to leave the original plugs in 3.9l engine any longer. I procrastinated because the vehicle was not miss firing, and the driveability is great. The back three plugs are a pain in the behind to work on due to area, but that is why you pay the extra bucks for the better quality plug. At this point in my vehicles service life I don't believe I will be servicing the plugs anytime soon or at least until the wheels fall off lol. The iridium plug is worth the price due to the longevity of service and I would highly recommend this product if you are interested is saving time and money.
