About
2010 Ford Escape Spark Plug

Each 2010 Ford Escape spark plug kickstarts the combustion cycle to generate energy through the explosions of gas in the engine cylinders to move the vehicle. When the plugs get old, stalling, starting trouble, and engine misfires can follow. Keep your ride smooth and efficient: browse our selection of 2010 Escape spark plugs, and pick the brand that's right for you.

Take your time...keep things clean!

I installed these on my 2010 Ford Escape, 3.0 engine. Really not a hard job at all....though the upper part of the intake manifold needs to be removed to access three of the spark plugs. Just take your time to keep things clean. Blow the dirt away from the intake before removing it. Same for the spark plugs (Blow out the wells before removing the plugs.) I used high temp Never Sieze on the plug threads and the nut connecting the tube to the EGR valve (tube connected to the upper half of the intake manifold). Also, I would recommend applying di-electric grease to both the inside and outside portion of the coil boots. Enjoy!

As I have expected from Bosch products for decades, quality is consistent and that's so important when something like a spark plug is buried so deep beneath all the stuff on a modern engine. I inspect every plug as I remove it from the package because I don't want to inadvertently put in a plug with a cracked insulator, bad threads or sealing surface. Also I appreciate the protective sleeve that is placed over the threaded end all the way past the electrode to ensure the air gap , which is preset ( another appreciated feature) does not change during shipping and handling. My ford 3.0 V6 Duratec runs as smooth as new with 334,000 miles because I maintain it with decent quality parts.
