Mazda 3 Spark Plug
The Right Parts at the Right Prices
For many people, deciding which are the best spark plugs for Mazda 3 can seem a daunting task. Different engines have different requirements, and different spark plugs deliver different results. Along with the best reviews on spark plugs to help you make a decision, AutoZone has an array of options to find the ideal replacement for your specific vehicle.
Preference plays into that decision. People looking for the longest possible lifespan may want to go with an iridium spark plug. Created from one of the hardest metals around, they don't require as much voltage. Others may want to go with the trusted copper standard, which have a large central electrode. Although not as long-lasting due to a nickel alloy center, they still deliver on performance. Double or regular platinum styles have an enhanced lifespan and create less buildup.
When choosing the right fit, it's important to know your vehicle and the parts that are being replaced. AutoZone experts are available to guide you in your journey online and in store. Along with helpful, friendly service, we also have the lowest prices and trusted parts from industry leaders.

About
Mazda 3 Spark Plug
Signs of Wear
Like with most things, age is the primary factor for needing a replacement. As these parts age, they are continuously exposed to high temperatures. Even though they are made of quality materials, natural wear and tear is bound to happen.
Difficult starts and reduced performance are key signs that it might be time for a replacement. While driving, spark plugs are engaged when shifting gears an accelerating. If they are old or begin to have buildup, it can create a noticeably sluggish ride. Along with feeling a difference, listen to your vehicle. Any rattling, pinging or knocking noises could be indicator of a misfire that is affecting the pistons.
Small but Mighty Power
Your car gives you freedom to go wherever you need or want to. Before you can begin a new adventure, your car needs to start. Making that happening are little bolts of electricity emitted by spark plugs. They ignite the many other parts needed for sooth operations. When they begin to fail, AutoZone can help you find the right spark plugs for your Mazda 3.
Optimal Performance
Although designed to last around 30,000 miles and require little maintenance, a spark plug replacement for Mazda 3 can make a noticeable difference in vehicle performance, as well as potentially reduce other maintenance costs. When operating properly, these small parts help the rest of the vehicle's system operate at peak performance and minimize the risk of catalytic converter problems.
Along with smoother starts, meaning limited harmful misfires, a new spark plug doesn't require higher voltage. This helps keep your battery functioning properly, which is also a vital component in getting a vehicle started. Once on the road, replacing spark plugs can enhance fuel economy and reduce emissions.

I just threw these in a week ago but they restored a bit of power I didn't know I was missing. My engine requires Iridium plugs as OE replacements and I read online that my particular car (05 Mazda3 2.3L) doesn't like anything other than NGK plugs but unlike what they said, everything is working just fine.
