Mazda CX5 Spark Plug

Lost about 3 miles per gallon compared to stock plugs. In the long run, after another 75k miles, better off buying stock. Car runs smooth with these plugs but I could feel some power loss. Was hoping an aftermarket product would produce the same if not better performance considering the price.

It was so easy to replace, did it all in under 15 minutes and now my car drives like a dream! I was having idling issues hints the review. What was odd is that I didn’t have a check engine light on so I assumed it was a dirty throttle body butterfly. So I cleaned it and turned the car back on and that’s when the check engine came on. I have a dash command diagnostic reader that told me right away that I had a misfire in cylinder 1. That being said I changed all 4 spark plugs and now it’s a smooth ride. Attached is a photo of the original Mazda spark plugs. Highly recommend if you’re in the market for these. P.S. shout out to youtuber “buckle up studios” for guidance on how to do this properly and professionally.
