      Ford Explorer Valve Cover Gasket

You depend on your Ford Explorer, so if you spot oil under your trusty SUV, it's a sad day. When the leak is from a faulty valve cover, though, it's an easy fix. Replace a leaking, worn cover with a new Ford Explorer valve cover gasket from AutoZone.

Gaskets shrink and become brittle from the heat of an engine. Installing one of our valve cover gaskets for Ford Explorer prevents the leaks that happen when the gasket breaks down. At AutoZone, we take pride in getting you the right parts at affordable prices. Come into a store near you and pick up an Explorer valve cover gasket replacement. You'll keep leaks at bay and your SUV in shape for all the adventures down the road. Don't forget to take advantage of our handy Loan-A-Tool Program while you're shopping.

When you remove the passenger side valve cover you can easily replace the plug wires that wrap around front with a holding bracket. Otherwise you have to remove the alternator to replace them. If your doing valve cover gaskets you might as well do plug wires too ! My fuel economy went up 3 MPG as an added improvement.
