Gasket so thick, had to force the air filter box closed with a clamp... way too thick. And un-trimmed gasket material all around the edges I had to cut off. Compared it to the Fram filter that came out - Fram is firm and snug, no problem as usual. The store didn't sell Fram so I tried this, won't do it again, I'll find air filters elsewhere if only STP is sold. I'm sure the paper element is fine, but my experience showed quality control issues. Sorry to gripe, it's a good store otherwise. Hope this feedback helps.

Bought this for my 2000 Ford Ranger. Worked like a charm and had a nice feel to it. Not cheap looking and I think it should last me a while.
