      This is the second filter from stp I have used in my wifes Kia. First one was put in at 30k, second one in at 76k. I replaced it due to age, not because it was dirty.

      Really Improved Performance

      I debated on whether or not to spend the few extra dollars for the "performance" air filter for my wife's Kia Soul. After watching a few reviews on You Tube comparing the performance of a paper and performance filter I made the decision to go with the performance filter. A week later my wife reported that she was getting an extra 2 miles per gallon after switching to the performance filter. The old filter was not that dirty, so it must be the filter design itself. The extra miles per gallon will quickly pay the difference in the cost of going with the performance filter.
