There's no air flow direction mark on the filter

There's no signal on the box or the filter itself showing air flow direction. Based on someone's review here I inserted the filer with the black rubber facing down in my 2013 Toyota Prius. Though I am not sure if that's the right side or not. This is the only air filter I've seen that does not mark the air flow direction.

The packaging does not say which cars this cabin air filter works in. It fit my 2013 Prius fine, thanks to YouTube installation instructions. The filter itself has zero does not say which side is up, nor is there any arrow showing airflow direction. I assumed the black rubber part with screen should be on bottom, and think that makes sense. But the $22 made-in-China filter lacks any arrow or orientation guidance. So does its package. The filter has a lot of pleats, fit ok, and seems to work correctly. STP just needs to up their labeling game! The old filter showed which side is up... [eyeroll]
