Ford Mustang Fuel Filter

There was nothing wrong with the product when I installed it until I noticed that my car began to waste a horrible amount of gas, I needed to see what I had possibly done wrong which nothing ofc happened and if the product was maybe defective but that couldn’t be either. I spent days trying to figure out what was the reason for my average mpg being so horrible right after changing my filter and had one friend tell me to reset the ecu or the battery for a couple minutes as this will obviously make the ecu re calculate the way the engine works with everything including the fuel economy. So I did that exactly and let my car idle for 10 minutes before I began driving, I drove on the road for about 10 minutes at 40mph and then hopped onto the freeway at about 60 then progressed to 80mph and my avg mpg went from 10mpg to 22mpg a drastic change. So it all had to do with the ecu resetting itself and not making the right info on the fuel pressure or amount of fuel needed coming out the injectors. So make sure to let your car idle after plugging back in the battery and drive around for 30 mins at least so the ecu reprograms itself.

Have an 01 Mustang GT with 113000 miles. It would take 10 long seconds to start up so I replaced the Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter. The Fuel Filter looks identical to the original, went on the same, and has now been working well for the last couples weeks. Would recommend.

Everything about this gravity fuel filter is best for my ‘66 Mustang. I feel confident with its mesh outside and solid paper inside. The seal works perfectly and may last longer than the filter.
