2011 Ford F150 Oil Filter
In most vehicles, it's ideal to replace the oil filter once every other time you change the oil, or at minimum once per year. This is usually frequent enough to prevent maintenance issues. However, you can also check the owner's manual for your vehicle to see how often you should change the oil or replace the oil filter.
