I feel like the deal I got on this filter was so worth the effort it took to change my own oil. Buy the oil and get the filter, it was a great deal.

No problems in years

I have been using these filters for years and I have not had any problems. On my SUV I run it 5,000 miles and on an emergency car I only drive it 500 miles and change it after 3-4 months. But on my daily driver I change it every 2,500-3,000 miles (lots of idling time on this). I do not beat them up so I cannot say what they can withstand but they have never failed me and I have been using them for at least 6 years on 5 different cars. One even going from 90k miles to 190k before I got rid of it and I only used these filters exclusively (changed oil/filter every 2,500-3,000 miles).
