Honda Odyssey Oil Filter

Oil filters keep motor oil clean so that it can lubricate and cool engine components. When oil filters become clogged or dirty, oil becomes less effective, which can lead to premature wear on your engine. Thankfully, AutoZone has all of the Honda Odyssey oil filters you need.

Honda Odyssey oil filters are straightforward to replace. Start by using jack stands or a lift to raise the vehicle off of the ground. Then, locate the cylindrical oil filter next to the oil pan on Honda Odysseys. Next, unscrew the oil filter and screw in the new oil filter. Make sure you stop tightening the new filter once it‘s snug by hand. Also, you'll need an oil filter wrench if the old filter is stuck. Use the filter above to find the right filter for your unique year, make, model, and engine size.

How Often Should You Change Your Oil Filter?

Honda recommends changing the oil filter after every second oil change minimum. That said, it's better to change the oil filter after every oil change. Changing the filter during an oil change ensures that your vehicle has a supply of fresh and clean oil. For the Honda Odyssey, oil changes should be done after 3,000 to 5,000 miles or when the OLM percentage is low. If you drive less than 3,000 miles per year, make sure you change the oil filter every 12 months.

When it's time to replace your Honda Odyssey's oil filter, AutoZone is the right choice. You'll find top-rated brands Fram and STP has extended-life oil filters. Orders can be picked up from the store with Same-Day In-Store Pickup and eligible orders have Free Next-Day Delivery.

      Mobil-1 has never failed me

Synthetic oil reduces friction, resists thermal breakdown, and has kept my vehicles running at their best for over two decades. For instance, I bought a new Honda Odyssey in 2005 and the engine is still running like new over 15 years and 240,000 miles later. Conventional oil does not come even close. I use Mobil-1 oil and filters for all of my vehicles and I have never had an oil-related failure. In fact, my engines run and sound like they are new.

Bosch products are pretty good. I have used this filter multiple times. 99% efficency and is better than STP and Fram and just as good as Mobil1 while being cheaper than Mobil1.

I use these with Mobil 1 exclusively. My wife's 2010 Honda Odyssey has 275,000 miles on it, and it's absolutely reliable.
