Hyundai Elantra Oil Filter

Oil filters ensure that motor oil remains contaminant-free. This is important because oil is responsible for cleaning, lubricating, and cooling engine components. When oil filters are full or blocked, the risk of rapid engine wear increases. AutoZone has a great selection of the best Hyundai Elantra oil filters so you can keep driving confidently.

Any DIYer can change the engine oil and filter in around 30 minutes. To replace Hyundai Elantra oil filters, start by lifting the vehicle with a lift of jack stands. Then, look for the filter next to the oil pan, unscrew the old oil filter, and twist on the new one. Always keep an oil filter wrench handy in case something gets stuck. Sort by year, make, model, and engine size because there are a few types of Hyundai Elantra engine oil filters in use.

How Often Should You Change Your Oil Filter?

Hyundai Elantras need to have the oil filter replaced after 3,000 to 5,000 miles when using regular oil and every 5,000 to 8,000 miles when using synthetic oil. Elantras that aren't driven often should have their filters changed at least once per year. A good rule of thumb to follow is that every time you change the oil you also change the oil filter.

The good news is that AutoZone has dozens of reliable Hyundai Elantra oil filters. There are brands like Fram and Mobil1 but also a few extended-life STP options. Plus, completing orders is convenient with Same-Day In-Store Pickup and Free Next-Day Delivery on eligible orders.

Have been using Mobil 1 oil and filters for years without complaint. Well actually one, if I could do my oil change without getting dirty that would be great!

Autozone near me didn't have it. They said another of their stores had it in stock. I drove all the way to the other store and they didn't have it either. They called a 3rd store and they had it and held it for me. All together I must have driven over 50 miles tracking this down.

Most expensive filter Auto Zone sells for my car, which is a 2007 Hyundai Elantra with 377000 miles, original engine, crank, cylinder head, etc. I use this filter in conjunction with Mobile 1 Full Synthetic High Milage Oil (also expensive). I have been using this filter for some years now, and given the milage on the car, I would have to say that it is doing it's job.
