Jeep Cherokee Oil Filter

The purpose of Jeep Cherokee oil filters is to trap dirt and other debris considerably smaller than a human hair strand before they enter the engine compartment and cause harm from blockages. Failing to replace the oil filter on time may cause considerable damage to the engine and leave you with a need for a costly repair. At AutoZone, you can find Jeep Cherokee oil filters from the most reputable manufacturers.

You'll need supplies for both the task itself and for your safety to replace an oil filter by yourself including an oil drain pan, oil filter wrench, eye protection, and gloves. Place the oil drain pan beneath the car and let the oil drain. Using the oil filter wrench, remove the oil filter. The replacement oil filter must then be properly installed and fastened with the o-ring being lubed with new engine oil.

If you care about your engine then you care enough to put a Mobil 1 filter on it. I haven't found a better filter with thick walls to protect it from gravel chips.
