      Jeep Renegade Oil Filter

The oil filter's job is to collect dirt and other particles from the engine oil before it cycles the engine. Dirty Jeep Renegade oil filters can cause damage from clogs and other debris. A faulty oil filter may also result in engine overheating and low oil pressure which will seriously harm the engine. With its wide selection of auto parts, AutoZone is a great place to find Jeep Renegade oil filters and other parts from some of the highest-quality manufacturers.

How to Replace Your Jeep Renegade Oil Filter

If you want to change the oil filter at home, you should have protective glasses and gloves, an oil drain pan, an oil filter wrench, or a filter wrench cap for easier handling. You need to locate the drain plug and put your drain pan underneath it. The first step is to drain the oil from the engine. After all that is done, secure the filter back into place hand-tight before pouring new oil into the engine.

When to Change Your Oil Filter

Based on engine oil being used, Jeep says that the replacement period for the Jeep Renegade oil filters is between 3,500 and 7,000 miles to maintain optimal performance. Your best bet is to change the oil and filter at least once per year, regardless of mileage.

narrow results at AutoZone by filtering according to year, make, model, and engine size. AutoZone delivers the best products with brands like K&N, Fram, and STP. On eligible orders, AutoZone provides Free Next-Day Delivery and Same-Day In-Store or Curbside Pickup Pickup.

I've been using these filters for years and have yet to have an internal engine problem or a quality issue. I change oil every 7,500 miles with conventional and 10,000 miles with synthetic based on my operator's manual.

I have been using these filters exclusively since my keep was new. The original OEM filter had a slight leak so I decided to go with these and never had an issue since. These are very easy to install and remove without any special tools as well
