Structural strength is very important on this type of filter or it collapses and lets particles bypass the filter media. Used on Lexus. Very happy with the installation as well as the condition when it was at end of life (at removal).

STP Extended Life Oil Filter S9972XL
Sam
in 2 years
I've been using STP products since 1963. The extended life oil filter is a must when using synthetic oil. I drive my vehicles 10,000 miles between oil changes. One is a 2013 model and one is a 2011 model. Neither vehicles require additional oil between changes. The 2013 model has 65,000 miles and the 2011 model has 100,000+ miles. Neither engines have had a wrench laid on them (except for the oil drain plug) since they left the factory.
