Unfasten the drain plug, so the old engine oil drains out into an engine oil drain pan. Once the oil has been removed, use an oil filter wrench to remove the old oil filter. Replace it with a new one and tighten it with your hands. The last step is to install the drain plug and top up the engine with fresh oil as per the manufacturer's recommendations.
