The customer service guy sold me the WRONG oil filter. Need to say made another trip to get right one. Should have been given gift card form my trouble!

It's definitely an oil filter

One of the frustrations of modern life is the obscurity of good information. This is definitely an oil filter. It definitely fits my Pontiac, and is probably well suited to that application. I have no way of evaluating it's claims of efficacy, efficiency or value except to say that my Pontiac is running as well as it did before I changed the oil filter. This one does NOT come with a new crush washer for your oil drain plug. Whether you use the new one or reuse the old one, make sure you torque to the proper specifications.
