Great Gasket

Chris

in a month

I had to put a new gasket in my thermostat housing. I had originally had it repaired at a mom and pop auto repair shop 3 years ago, when the shop replaced the thermostat housing but never put a gasket between the engine block and the housing which didn't cause any problem until recently. I put this gasket in an fixed the leaking problem

Good product

Good fit, superior to the standard gasket. It is advertised as not needing any sealer , just drop in. But, I put some on anyway to be safe.

Gasket fixed thremostat leak problem

Gopher

in a year

My 2008 Jeep Wrangler's thermostat is wrapped in a rubber seal that is sandwiched between the thermostat housing and the pump body. This seal is prone to leak. The addition of this Fel-Pro gasket seals the thermostat housing to the pump body and prevents a leak. This gasket is not an original part on my Jeep. I searched the Internet to find a solution to my 3.8L engine thermostat housing leak and came across this Fel-Pro gasket as a fix.
