      FIRE- Resister started smoking immediately, I measured the risistor with a meter before installation, it was 1.8 ohms. The one on my vehicle was around 4 ohm and does not smoke. Is that correct for a 1965 JEEP willys Kaiser? Will this work for a 6 volt, and 12 volt application? My jeep has been converted to 12 volts.
