Replaced with water pump

Amanda

in 11 days

Make sure to tighten all the way before putting water pump on block as there won’t be room to adjust - at least that was the case for me. Works well, good replacement for old rusted part

See installed at Major Weakness YouTube Channel!

Mike Major Weakness

in 9 months

This was installed with a new Duralast water pump. It comes with sealant on the threads. Seems to be as good as the OEM. Only problem (actually water pump issue) is the angle and position of the tapped hole this goes in to makes it hit the valve cover and possibly the thermostat housing when installed. Was a simple fix had to bend the pipe just a little so it would not rub edge of the valve cover. Again, not an issue with this part, was issue with the new water pump. Unless you get a Chrysler water pump, this will be a slight issue. I will post a video of this on my YouTube channel called "Major Weakness" and watch the water pump video.

Must-buy for water pump replacement

Joe.

in a year

The hose is likely to rust due to all the coolant and liquids on the paint over time. The threads on mine were also stripped, possibly due to the rust. So I found that this hose was a must-buy for replacing the water pump.
