About
BMW X5 Ignition Coil
Ignition coils take high-amp, low-voltage current in the battery and convert it into low-amp, high-voltage current that powers spark plugs. Typically, 12V battery current is amplified into 20,000V current needed to fire the spark plugs within the coils. Ignition coils wear out because of the high voltage, causing connections to break down and eventually needing replacement. Purchase ignition coils for BMW X5 online from AutoZone and get them fast with Same Day Store Pickup. While at the store, ask our staff for advice on your installations and borrow any specialty tools for your work from our convenient Loan-a-Tool program.

P0306 was gone when I replaced it. 04 X5 3.0 with 188K+ miles. I also like the limited-lifetime warranty instead of a 1 or 3-year warranty.

It didn't feel like it did sit all the way down, so I removed and put it back twice, but still felt like it not sitting completely because it did stick out comparing to others. But it is working just fine. Hope water doesn't get in since rubber cap didn't fit.
