      Nice and Simple

My brake lights were constantly switched on, and the culprit was this little piece of rubber. Installation took less than a minute and it even came with a spare pad. Had no fitment issues in my Civic.

Fixes “brake light always on” problem

This is a replacement for the original part, if you need a new one. But the location for where it must go is awkward to get to.

Fit my old 92' Honda Civic Brake Pedal Perfectly

      Tenderfoot56

      in a year

This is being installed in our 2nd car which it is used only once every couple of weeks. I was going out of town for a couple of weeks and decided to top off the battery with a full charge before I left just in case a family member needed to use it. Normally, it is good without doing that at all, but I wanted to be sure everything was good in my absence. When I got home, I had a stone cold dead battery!!! I put a charger on it and it would no longer charge fully, so I replaced it. After installing the new battery, I noticed the brake lights on constantly, so I instantly knew what had happened because the same thing happened about 10 years ago. The little plastic plug that is snapped into a square flat metal plate on the brake pedal had simply disintegrated over time due to the Florida Heat. Fortunately, Auto Zone happened to sell a replacement part that was made of rubber instead of hard plastic, and it simply popped into the hole and works like a champ! Highly Recommended part for your Honda!
