What are cranking amps (CA) and cold cranking amps (CCA)?
Cranking Amps and Cold Cranking Amps refer to amount of power a battery can deliver, commonly to start a vehicle in varying conditions. Also referred to as starting power, measurements of cranking amps and cold cranking amps determine a battery's ability to go from not in use to providing a lot of power quickly.
How do I know if I’m having a battery issue or if my battery is dead?
Slow, low starts, or no start at all is a typical indicator. You may also notice the battery light on, dim headlights, or a clicking noise when you try to start the vehicle.
What is reserve capacity?
Reserve Capacity refers to the amount of reserve power a battery contains. Measurements of reserve capacity determine how long a battery will maintain an adequate voltage before becoming discharged.
