Ford Escape Engine Oil
How to Replace Your Motor Oil
Changing the motor oil in your Ford Escape is easy, and usually takes less than 30 minutes. Begin by lifting the front of the car and securing it with jacks or a ramp. Locate the oil drain plug underneath the car and unscrew it, emptying the oil into a pan or bucket. Screw the drain plug back in, then remove the old oil filter and replace it with a clean one. After lowering the car to the ground, add fresh oil until it reaches the fill line on the dipstick.Best Engine Oil For Ford Escape

I have always used Motorcraft oil in my fords, and it has performed just fine. Sometimes it's hard to find, but Auto Zone comes through! It's the only oil for me!

Excellent Motor Oil!

I have been using Valvoline High Mileage Full Synthetic motor oil on my 2010 Ford Escape XLT with the 2.5 liter inline 4 since it ran over 80,000 miles. It now has over 121,000 miles and I have never had an issue with oil. The seals on my motor are still in great shape, the Escape barely uses any oil through each oil change, and the motor runs as smooth as the day I bought it new. Would definitely recommend this oil to any DIY'er who does their own oil changes. Great product that delivers excellent results.
