I’ve only used Mobile 1 synthetic oil in my 2013 Ford Focus since I bought it new. The ‘oil change required’ message comes up at 10k miles. When I use the 10k Mobile 1 it works out perfectly. Better still was when I found Mobile 1 had a 15k product because I’m not always able to change oil when the message comes up. The cost of using Mobile 1 is less than what I would spend if I used regular oil, especially when you use the Auto Zone reward card.

I've always used Valvoline, and switched to Valvoline synthetic, when it became available for purchase. I've never had any engine issues.
